CV Writing

People all over the world apply for positions at the start of- and during their work lives. Many well-qualified people struggle with self-presentation and interviewing successfully for positions. Self-presentation in a CV and during interviews is an art that requires thinking ability, both written and verbal communication skills, as well as an effective understanding of business etiquette and being skilled in interviewing for positions. These skills are life skills. In this first section, we are going to take an in-depth look at CV writing and the psychology behind successful- and unsuccessful CV’s.


Self-presentation in interviews

The idea of conducting interviews is not new. The process has been around for almost a century. Over the years, however, structured interviews have been gaining more and more favour with organisations.
